For those wondering how to break into screenwriting, acquiring agent, etc. Entering your screenplay into a competition such as Nicholl is a good start. If it does well, it will attract the attention of agents.

But your script had better be well thought out and spit-shine polished.

Whatever happened to that poor kid who was a Robert Rodriguez fanatic. He always asked how to get a literary agent.
